There are several places to find affiliate products but the best source for beginners is to go to few main marketplace sites such as Commission Junction, ClickBank, and Amazon Associates and register as an affiliate. These sites basically act as huge directories for affiliate programs.

Here is a short review of the top affiliate marketplaces:

1. ClickBank promotes digital products, mainly E-books and downloadable Softwares, which make up the majority of the products on there. The main advantage of clickBank is in its simplicity and functionality: As soon as You become
a member you can promote any of the products and services within it, almost immediately

2. Commission junction is a bit more versatile than ClickBank, simply because it gives you access to non digital products as well. In addition, few companies will pay you for leads or click throughs and not only sales.
Once you find a product you like in Commission junction marketplace, in most cases you will need to apply to be accepted into that advertiser’s program.

3. Amazon associates is another popular affiliate marketplace mainly because it offers a huge range of physical and virtual goods to sell. Besides Books, you can find and promote almost anything related to your niche, such asMusic, electronics, toys, games, jewellery and videos.
Just bear in mind that Amazon’s commission is usually less attractive then Commission junction and ClickBank.

A less effective option is to literally use your favourite search engine such as Google and start finding programs by adding the word “affiliate” to the your niche keyword research. This is in most cases a time consuming process which can lead to ineffective affiliate programs. In addition, there are plenty of quality affiliate websites that are not indexed by the search engine.
